It’s been a wild couple of weeks, friend. Letting go of control is one of the best feelings ever.

We were never meant to hold onto control so tightly, that’s the Lord’s job, not ours.

Over a series of events and new developments in my personal life, it seems that letting go of control and stepping into more freedom has been a common theme.

I was at a gathering about a month ago and the pastor in the room looked at me and said something along the lines of “I see an explosion of love coming like a volcano erupting in your life soon. An explosion of love like never before”

This resonated in my spirit and I believe that to be able to love without limits means I must loose the control in order to create more space for the things of God.

He is using specific people in my life to break of insecurity, to break off preconceived expectations, to break off the trying to change certain things into releasing, letting go of control, and embracing the people placed in my life. My role is not to change anyone buy myself. My role to others is to LOVE them. To encourage them, hug them, affirm them, speak life into them, pray for them, stand up for them, and to see them how God see’s them.

My mind is literally blown.

Sometimes you don’t know what you’ve been missing until you just let go.
